with its sloop rig with 70 sf of total sail. The shallow deck

The Snark Sea Skimmer comes complete with nylon
sail, daggerboard, kickup rudder and tiller, riggings and fittings. Mast
and boom are aluminum. Wooden parts are marine varnished. The flat
cockpit design ( like a sailboard) gives you plenty of leg room. Just add
water and go.

Performance Note Although the
Sea Skimmer is a recreational style sailboat. some can find it a
challenge to sail. This boat has a narrow sailboard style hull
with a 70 sf sail area. While some find this exhilarating, others
find that the speed, stability and the very wet sailing action to be
more than they desire. For those sailors, the Sunflower
3.3 would be a better choice. |
