Seacycle has a 6:1 gear ratio with a 12"
propeller. The drive housing is sealed with an oil filled sump for
positive lubrication. Safety feature on the drive unit automatically kicks
up and locks in the up position if it strikes a submerged object, or if it is
landed on shore.
Seacycle Solo Model - The Fastest, Most Comfortable Human Powered Craft
in
the Lineup. Seacycles have been clocked as fast as 13.5 mph. They have been pedaled
for an 1100 mile ocean trip between Seattle WA to Juneau AK. Effortlessly cruise up
to 50 miles in one day. They have crossed the English Channel between Britain and France. If
you wish, you can upgrade a Seacycle Solo to a Seacycle Twin later
on by ordering an upgrade package.

Seacycle Limo model
The Seacycle can be easily assembled by one person in under
5 minutes. No single part weighs more than 41 lbs.
Twin and Limo models come with two drive units. The
Solo has one drive unit, but can be upgraded to a Twin at a later date.

TL-1 Tender Lift Kit is a popular option even if you don't use your
Seacycle as a boat tender. The four point lift attachments make it easy to tie
your Seacycle up to docks or shore. These replace the 4 Tee Handle
Fasteners on the frame where it connects to the two hulls.
